Description
The modules team leader Dominique Corbex now incorporates in his server script the use of emptyvss to test a module immediately after it is created.
An undocumented key sometimes used in Bible & Commentary module .conf files is
Scope=
If emptyvss could be enhanced to make use of this key, it would avoid (eg) outputting all the OT verse references for a module that is NT only. Clearly this is redundant information.
To make best use of this, it might be sensible to have it as a command line option, i.e.
emptyvss <modulename> -s
-s = use the Scope key to restrict the output to verses within the specified scope of the module.
IMHO, this should be fairly simple for sword developers to implement.
NB. If this were to be coded, then it would also make sense to document the key more adequately in the SWORD developers' wiki.
