JPS starts <FI> in one verse and ends with <Fi> in another

    Details

      Description

      Joshua 21:36-37

In verse 36 there is an <FI> and in 37 there is the corresponding <Fi> indicating that italicizing should span the two verses.

This is the only GBF Bible with such a construct. SWORD and JSword do not handle it well. It could be argued that they should, but ....

      See:
      http://crosswire.org/study/passagestudy.jsp?key=joshua+21
and note that verse 36 is appropriately italicized but verse 37 is not.

The simplest solution is to end verse 36 with <Fi> and start verse 37 with <FI>.

      Better yet. Convert to OSIS
